Westinghouse Reliatron WX3506 pentode

This rather odd-shaped valve measures 37x24x16mm overall, plus leads. It has 5 leads at one end and two at the other.

The specifications of this valve suggest it has characteristics similar to the 6AG5.

The leads, as seen in the picture to the right, are numbered from 2 (left) to 6 (right) at the top, and 1 (left) and 7 (right) at the bottom.

The construction of the envelope can be seen above. It is made in two halves and sealed along the edge. The exhaust pip is separately sealed at one end. The sealant forms the bond to hold the halves together, and also the lead seal.
