This is a somewhat unusual diode in that it has a grid. The base data indicates that
pin 1 is either anode, or anode+grid, indicating that there may be two different constructions
of this valve.

The filament is meant to be fed from a 2V battery via a 0.75 ohm resistance. If extra
bias is required a 0.25 ohm resistance can be introduced into the Filament -ve connection.
