An odd spark gap - no information or markings present.

Size This device measures 148x50mm overall and has a 16-pin base with no key and even pin spacing.

Inside view
The device has a cone-shaped electrode connected to a rod which forms one external connection. This is positioned over a hole in the other electrode. This electrode is resting on the 16 pins, three of which form hooks to secure it. It is not soldered or welded, and in fact some of the pins are not in physical contact.

Ideas anyone?
