FEU-1 photocell

Size This photocell measures 120x39mm overall

This is a photocell with one stage of amplification. It is designed for use in sound reproducing cine equipment and similar applications. It has an antimony-caesium photocathode on the inside of the envelope. It is designed to be mounted vertically but can be horizontally mounted provided the cathode edges are in a vertical plane.

Spectral response region 4000 to 6000 Angstroms
Max spectral response 4000 +/- 500 Angstroms
Total anode sensitivity at 220V 600 µA/Lumen
Supply voltage ≤ 250V
Dark current ≤ 1x10-7A
Working temperature range +10 to +30C

The base pins are anode and cathode and the side connector is the emitter. The anode is the pin on the same side as the emitter connection.
