Eureka EV2-40T thoriated filament high-voltage rectifier (125kV), measuring 130x55mm.

Anode connection is via a socket located about 25mm down inside the 'top' of the valve. Filament is connected to fly leads.

This ring around the fiament is connected to one side of it.

Filament volts 4.0 +/- 0.3V; current 6.8A approx.

The valve is designed to run immersed in oil to cool it and also to prevent arcing.
