GE 8072 beam tetrode, measuring 55x36mm

This is a conduction cooled valve intended for use as an RF power amplifier etc. It can produce an output of 110W at 50MHz, 105W at 175MHz, and 85W at 470MHz.

The anode is external, i.e. the body of the valve from the 8072 number in the photo to the top is the anode (the top section is there to protect the exhaust tip). G2 is connected to the ring near the base, with the other elements connected to the base pins.

The heater voltage is 12 to 15V at about 1.3A.
