RCA 5820 Image Orthicon camera tube.

The camera tube measures 390x75mm overall (50mm across the main body)

The tube has a 14-pin base and 7 connections around the image section at the front.

At the front of the tube is the image section. This has its own connections to 7 pins around the base of the enlarged section. The section contains a photocathode at the front (glass), an accelerator electrode and a target screen. The screen is scanned on the other side by the electron beam, and the returned beam fed into the multiplier section surrounding the electron gun.
