Litton 4J50A magnetron, fixed tuned at 9375MHz +/- 30MHz. Heater 13.8V/3.4A, 23kV/28A generates a 250kW pulse output.

The magnetron weighs 4.5kg and is of the packaged-type, in that it is complete with its magnet assembly. It is designed for forced-air cooling.

4J50A warning label The magnet is very strong and carries a warning label. This reads "WARNING Maintain minimum 2 inches between this magnet and magnetic materials (magnets, steel tools plates, etc.)". While photographing this valve it was noticed that the computer screen was affected by the magnet from two feet away!
