3C22 triode

Size This valve measures 122x41mm overall and has an octal base.

 

This is a transmitting triode capable of 125W at 1.4GHz. 6.3V/2A heater. It was used in the AN/APT-5 radar jamming transmitter. Interestingly this was used as the local oscillator in equipment used to discover the 21cm interstellar hydrogen line in 1951. Further information required.		 3C22
